ADNET Scores in National Microsoft Technology Contest
October 19, 2004
Windsor, CT October 19, 2004 – ADNET Technologies, Inc. was awarded second place in a national contest from among over 1,000 eligible Microsoft Certified Partners for its creative implementation of new functionality found in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
The Microsoft Certified Partner contest ran for more than 6 months and eligible partners from across the US submitted case studies detailing their deployments of the new features of Microsoft’s email platform, Exchange Server 2003.
ADNET was honored for its Microsoft Exchange implementation supporting a leading worldwide manufacturer’s operations in both the United States and Asia/Pacific region. In this project, ADNET leveraged Microsoft’s new technology to reduce the number of email servers by 75% and to centralize these servers from office locations around the globe into one centralized location in their Connecticut headquarters. In the process of consolidating, ADNET’s solution simplified maintenance requirements and significantly reduced their client’s total cost of ownership.
ADNET President Ed Laprade said, “ADNET works with our clients every day to build robust network and messaging solutions. We are thrilled to have our work honored and to be recognized in a national contest sponsored by Microsoft.”
