ADNET Sponsors their 15th Annual Adopt-a-Family December 13, 2011
Farmington, December 13, 2011: ADNET Technologies, LLC is taking part in Farmington’s Adopt-a-Family Holiday program.ADNET is sponsoring a family with help from the Farmington Social Services. Employees participate by making cash donations or purchasing items from a list that addresses the needs of the family. All cash donations are used to purchase as many of the remaining items on the list as possible. Farmington Social Services is available to help the community through assistance programs, support groups, and community education seminars. Throughout the year they hold regular events that provide support, information, and education to those in need. Their mission is to "manage resources, provide wholesome programing and coordinate opportunities to achieve creative solutions for a healthy community." The Adopt-a-Family Program is a yearly holiday event that Farmington Social Services holds to help address the needs of low-income households with children and families. Individuals or group sponsors are matched with underprivileged families and are supplied the family information and wish lists to donate accordingly. Farmington Social Services ensures that the family receives the gifts and food during the week before Christmas. ADNET is delighted to sponsor an event that gives so much back to the community.
