Most businesses have diverse systems and unique technology requirements.
Commercial software packages are built for the masses but don't always
address particular needs. ADNET's development team analyzes your specific
needs, provides an application design, and then builds the solution
to your specifications. And, we provide ongoing support to ensure
that the solution does just what it is intended to do.
Capabilities A Microsoft Gold Partner, ADNET maintains a disciplined program to
keep its developers and engineers up-to-date on the latest Microsoft
technology. The technologies we use to develop applications include:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft .Net
- Visual Basic
- Microsoft Access
- SQL Reporting Services
|
- ASP
- BizTalk Server
- SharePoint Portal Server
- Crystal Reports

Sample Projects
We have worked on custom software projects in a variety of industries and have solved a wide range of unique business problems. Some of the applications we have developed include:
- Provisioning Planning System - (Aerospace)
The life support packs that astronauts wear when they are walking in space contain thousands of parts that must be tracked. ADNET's team built an application that provides an inventory and bill of materials tracking facility for these life support packs. In addition, the application provides flight scheduling capabilities as well as "what if" analysis. The application was developed with an Oracle back-end and a PowerBuilder front-end. - Hamilton Sundstrand/NASA
- Bonds Issue System - (Not for Profit)
The primary goal of this project was to design a system that consolidated 12 separate applications that managed bond issues and associated mailings. ADNET developed an application that automated new business, contact and issue management, issue compliance, arbitrage, statistical profiling, mailing and congressional profiling stages of the bond life cycle. For this project, ADNET developed a .Net application with a Microsoft SQL Server back-end. - Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority (CHEFA)
- Digital Signage - (.com)
ADNET developed a digital signage application to pull from a central database and display advertising on remote plasma monitors located in supermarkets and liquor stores. The system manages the ad space that is purchased as well as tracks the frequency with which each ad runs at each location. This application was developed using ASP and a Microsoft SQL Server back-end. - SignStorey
- Remote Inventory Tracking System (RITS) - (Manufacturing)
The purpose of this RITS project was to provide a browser-based interface for tracking international and domestic consignment inventories. ADNET developed an application whose primary focus was to keep timely records of consignment inventory usage and to reduce the overhead associated with maintaining a consignment inventory. The application was developed using ASP and a Microsoft SQL back-end - Saint Gobain Advanced Ceramics
- Automated Enrollment and Group Information System (AEGIS) - (Travel)
ADNET replaced a series of "unconnected" applications that had no integration and were used to manage a group travel business. ADNET's team developed an application to manage program information, itineraries, program costing, and block air and hotel space. The application was written using ASP with a Microsoft SQL Server back-end. - Lyon Travel
- Client Tracking System - (Legal)
This application was developed to help track legal awards and their associated disbursements. In addition, the application ADNET developed prints the required disbursement checks. This application was written in FoxPro - Lovett Schefrin Harnett
- Purchase Requisition System - (Not for Profit)
This application was developed to enable users to enter and submit purchase requisitions for a variety of products using the vendors' web site. ADNET's team developed a browser-based system that allows users to browse an approved vendor's web catalog while building an order. The user can select items for purchase, add those items to an order, and have the order processed through the purchasing module of their Macola software. ADNET's solution is a .Net application that uses BizTalk Server for data exchange and Microsoft SQL Server for the back-end. - UConn Health Center
